Before Our Visit
- Pick up any small, loose items from the floor such as clothing, toys, etc. Any valuable or breakable items on coffee or end tables should also be secured in other areas.
- Please secure pets in a separate area. During the course of our visit we will be in and out of your home and may use hoses that will leave the door slightly ajar to ensure the best results.
- It is best for us to park as close as possible to your home due to the nature of our equipment, so if at all possible please have the driveway clear. Should there be snow on the
- ground, please have your driveway marked and clear of snow. Additional charges may apply should these conditions not be met.
During our visit
- Point out any specific areas of concern that you have to our technician during the pre-inspection.
- We are more than happy to move tables, chairs, and upholstered furniture. We will move these items, clean under them, and then replace them. We will set them on small plastic, foil, or Styrofoam blocks or tabs. We do not normally move pianos, pool tables, entertainment centers, curio cabinets, computer desks, etc. Should you wish these special items to be moved, please inform us prior to our visit.
- Please point out any items that may be delicate or unstable if moved.
After our visit
- Carpet will typically take 3 to 12 hours to dry. Many factors will affect this including the type of service performed, type of material involved, humidity in the structure, and air movement. Because of this, we ask that you turn on any ceiling fans and move your HVAC system from “Auto” to “On” for several hours to help circulate the air.
- If the carpet or upholstery being cleaned is in a room with no ventilation, please leave the door open or place a fan to circulate the air.
- Please do not remove the blocks and tabs until the carpet is COMPLETELY dry.
- When possible, do not walk on damp carpeting. Wet carpet will re-soil more quickly. Safety first! Please take caution when stepping from wet carpet onto a hard surface as they will be very slippery!
